Cat Eyes, Curls, and Shopping

I have just been weak, extremely fatigued, no energy at all- like way more than usual and feeling unmotivated. I mean thankfully I was up to doing my hair and makeup for Thanksgiving and did some shopping but that's about it.

I went to Old Navy Thursday because it is right next to hhgreggs' and we had to go there to help get my Mom a t.v. We were 4th or 5th in line at hhgreggs' so that went pretty quick and since we were right next to Old Navy, why the hell not? So my Sister and I went to Old Navy and I controlled myself pretty well. I only bought three things. Oh and Wednesday night I bought a few things online at Kohls. Their Black Friday prices had already started online and if you spent $50, you got free shipping and $15 Kohls cash PLUS I had a 15% off promo code. So I got three blankets, a pillow, a basic turtleneck top, and some over the knee boots. On Black Friday I went to Petsmart about an hour or so after they opened. Petsmart is where I got in real trouble. I spent almost $100... whoops. I couldn't help it. The holiday toys were 50% off and the furr babies needed new toys and the holiday toys are sooo cute! I even put like four toys back before checking out. Ugh I have a problem. And then I gave each of the dogs one toy and am saving the rest for Christmas. I gave them three of the toys that are cheaply made and one of them is already ripped up. I gave it to Gemma. Well Audrey wanted to play tug of war. Gemma was not letting go of that toy, so it ripped. Oh well. That's what happens when you have three dogs and one of them is a teething puppy.

And tonight I have a date- a tattoo date I guess you can call it? lol. So I met this guy on Tinder. He's a Tattoo Artist and I've looked at his work. But I'm just going to get him to tattoo a really small paw print behind my right ear. Partially because I want that and think it would look cute and I'm like dog crazy so a paw print fits, plus, I'm not rich, plus, I wouldn't want to get something bigger when I haven't gotten any work done by him before and stuff- ya know, gotta have my guard up a little. And he is not going to replace Dreamy Don as my Tattoo Artist. Anyway, we scheduled it so that I'm his last appointment so that we can go out for dinner after. I'll update you all on that and put pictures up of my outfit tomorrow or something.

Ugh Mowgli is such a baby! He is my only male and he is the biggest out of all of my dogs. He thinks he's five pounds, helpless, and is a whiner. He is whining at the moment b/c Audrey is laying in his spot on the couch. Ok, now he finally stopped whining and used his doggy stairs to get on the couch- which is completely unnecessary for a dog his size and young age. And Audrey, lil sis, moved out of his spot. She's preoccupied with one of the new toys I gave them and she moves around the couch while chewing on it. Well, about 5-10 minutes ago, the goofball ran into her sister, Gemma, with the toy thinking that would make Gemma want to play with her. Oh my how I love my goofy dogs.

Well I am going to stop this rambling and scatterbrainedness and show you some pictures of my hair and makeup on Thanksgiving and my Petsmart haul.

 Used my KISS Instawave

The Christmas cards came!!! I remembered to buy stamps last night so now I just have to get myself to get them ready to mail out. I'll probably do that tomorrow.

Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and had fun shopping!

Happy Thanksgiving!

   Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

So yesterday we got some snow and I made sure to take a few pictures when it had only been snowing for about an hour (or so? or less?).
You might be wondering why there is a pink crate outside. My Sister took it outside to wash it off like back when it was warm out months ago and never brought it back in. It's just an extra crate anyway but she needs to get that thing back inside or in the shed. Ugh. Teenagers.

Mowgli in his camo and plaid and Audrey in red and yellow

 Gemma and Audrey

The whole gang

In honor of Thanksgiving, I am going to list some of the things that I am thankful for:
1. My dogs. These three are my world and what I live for each and everyday. I love them to pieces!
2. My family- specifically my mom and sister. I don't know what I would do without my mom. Our relationship has had its' ups and downs but I would not be where I am today without her. And of course my relationship with my sister has had plenty of ups and downs but we have so much fun being goofy together and talking in our weird funny embarrassing little voices we do. We are such weirdos!
3. My job. Although I'd rather be a professional Blogger or something, I am very grateful for my job. It's a good job and pays the bills!
4. My house. Bought my first house this year and am so happy with it and to be out of apartments.
5. My car. The car I have now is the newest car I've ever bought and is the first car I got on my own without a co-signer. A car is a necessity for my job with such a long commute.
6. My followers and everyone who reads my blog. Thank you so much for believing in me and I love you all!

Well I am baking cinnamon rolls for breakfast and do not want them to burn. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

WTF Wednesday

Oh good Lord I am tired. It is dark and raining out. The roads are slippery. It is supposed to snow 5-8" today in the city I live in. WTF?! So I left work early. I was not trying to get stuck in the ice and snow and have to abandon my car on the side of the road. I started this post this morning and I am safely at home with my three furr babies snuggled up on the couch with me snoring.

Shall we move onto What the Fuck Wednesday? I think so.

1. Family presents transgender woman as a man at funeral
This really outrages me. Jennifer Gable even legally changed her name to Jennifer Gable. Not only did her family present her as a man at her funeral, they cut her hair and put her in a suit. I'm pretty sure this is not what she would have wanted. She is being buried as someone she is not. Dressing your deceased child as a man and using her birth name when she identifies herself as a female and has legally changed her name is rude, disrespectful, and hurtful in my eyes. I'm assuming her family did not support her decision in identifying as a female and do not believe in transgenders. You can read the article here.

2. Former Miss Teen Oregon- World gets arrested for possession of meth and heroin
Big surprise. News like this in the pageant world seems to be increasingly common. After women have won a title, whether it is soon after or years after, they seem to get arrested. Now don't get me wrong, I am not bashing pageants whatsoever. I was in a pageant or two when I was like four- back in the day when pageants weren't as big, expensive, glitzy as they are now. I think pageants can be a good learning experience for young girls and women, develop stage presence, get used to answering questions (especially on the spot), getting used to being judged (because that happens everywhere out in the world) and speaking in front of a lot of people, working with organizations and charities, finding their talent or niche, working up to the bigger titles when they are older to try to get college scholarships and be role models, etc. Many outsiders forget all of those positive things about pageants. You can read more about Jamie Lynn France's recent arrest here.

3. Mother leaves her week-old baby in a roadside drain
What the fuck? Why are people doing this? And it isn't just young teen moms doing this stuff either. This Australian woman is 30 years old. She tried killing her son by abandoning him in a roadside drain. Thankfully passers-by heard his cries in time. He was in that drain for five days! And thankfully this baby is getting justice because his Mother is being charged and can face up to 25 years in prison. You do not have to abandon your babies! You can get help. Whether you go through adoption agencies, ask family members or friends or anyone for help to give up your baby, and some hospitals have that thing where you can just leave your baby at the hospital- the Safe Haven Law- with no questions asked or responsibility. Here is the article about this cruel woman.

4. Miley Cyrus steps out in another crazy outfit
Oh Miley... Miley Cyrus celebrated her 22nd birthday this past Saturday with her new boy toy, Patrick Schwarzzenegger. And she wore a crazy outfit. She looks like she got dressed when she was high off of Molly and it reminds me of a muppet; the colors remind me of laffy taffy and Willy Wonka; and the hair clips remind me of something Jennifer Garner wore on 13 Going on 30. The style of the dress also kind of reminds me of the infamous hooker dress Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman. Well, I hope you had fun Miley.

5. Cleveland Police Officer shoots boy holding fake gun
Let me start off my saying this is recent news that happened this past Saturday. Someone called 911 about a male that was pulling a gun in and out of his pants near a playground. The caller also said it was probably a fake gun but they weren't sure. So I can understand this caller's concern and taking precautions by notifying law enforcement that there is someone with a gun and the gun might be fake but it might be real. Although the caller informed the 911 dispatch center that it could be a fake gun, the officers that responded to the call were not informed of this important piece of information. The 12 year old boy that had the gun was not carrying a real gun. He was carrying an airsoft gun. Airsoft guns usually have an orange tip to show they are not real guns, however, this boy did not have the orange tip on his gun. Thus, no one would be able to tell from looking at the gun from a distance that it was fake. The boy was told by police to raise his hands but when the boy reached for the gun in his waistband instead, he was fatally shot by police. The fact that the officers weren't informed about the possibility of the gun being fake, the gun not having the orange safety indicator, the boy failed to follow instructions, and he reached for a gun, proves there was no malicious intent by the police officer. Ok, this is getting a little long so let's get to the end. Everything was caught on video and the officer was cleared- as he should be but a lot of people disagree with my opinion. This was an unfortunate situation. You can read the full article here.

6. A wedding dress that weighs 380-Pounds
Whaaaaaaaat? Wedding dresses are usually heavy enough. How could someone walk in this? Luckily this mastermind dressmaker made this dress as an art piece rather than for commercial use. Gail Be is the dressmaker from Edina, Minnesota who made this gown she calls Fantasy. This dress took her three years to make! And that was even with the help of 22 seamstresses! It probably would have took her 10 years to make that on her own. Would you wear this dress?

Love Makeup? Love One Direction? Love Free Stuff? Say No More...

Who loves makeup? I know I do! So I was ecstatic to be able to try out this makeup by One Direction kits.
This kit includes lip gloss, mascara, and nail polish (with glitter!). As you can see, this makeup kit isn't just your regular old plain makeup. It features a variety of bold fun colors. Also, Makeup by One Direction is offered at affordable prices!

Lets start off with the mascara. This kit features three Electro Glam Mascaras. My first instinct was to go for the Pinkest Hot Pink aka Does he know? I applied this color to my lashes. Although it took a few coats to show up better, I really liked this shade of pink for my lashes. These bold colors can be worn everyday, to parties, with costumes, dances, clubs, etc. and would be super fun to use at sleepovers.

On the eye on the left (which is my right eye), I actually kept my regular black mascara I use everyday on and put the pink over it and then on the eye on the right, I took my black mascara off and only applied the pink mascara to my lashes.

The really cool thing about this mascara is that it also can be used on your hair. I'll admit, I had a little difficulty with this. I think it would be easier to apply to straight hair/ straightened hair, lightly brushed on in random areas of your hair, or apply to the tips. I made the mistake of trying to coat strands of hair with the product. I still think it looks cool though.
Shock of Blue (Why don't we go there) and Amped Canary Yellow (Story of my life)

Now onto a girl's go-to makeup product- lip gloss. The Liquilights Glow Glosses are probably my favorite out of all of the makeup products in this kit. You can never have too much lip glosses in your makeup collection. One of the things I really like about these lip glosses is that they are enriched with natural oils and Vitamin E to keep your lips soft and hydrated all day and all night. These glosses can be worn everyday but they also change color under UV lights. Unfortunately I don't have a UV light to show you the color changing.

Kiss You is an orange glitter rush lip gloss that glows to neon yellow under UV light. It is actually more of a light coral color than orange, which I think is more flattering. I think this is my top pick out of the glosses.

This lip gloss is called Taken. Taken is a powerhouse glitter pink lip gloss that glows to neon orange under UV light.

And finally, there is Through the Dark. An electric glitter poppy lip gloss that glows to neon red-orange under UV light.

The final product included in this kit? Nail polish and who doesn't like that? What's even better is that each of the three nail polishes comes with their own complimentary glitter that you can sprinkle on (while your polished nails are still wet) to add a little sparkle or dip your entire wet mani in for a mega-watt sparkle. These polishes are neon UV reactive and so is the glitter!

The Rock Me Nail Kit
Happily is the iced blue glitter nail polish and the snow cone blue glitter is called Kicks.

Moments, the neon pink nail polish, comes with an electrified pink glitter called Not Afraid. Diana is 3D holographic nail polish that comes with Star, which is a holo glitter.

The blue nail polish is the only one that I showed with the glitter on it. The 3D holographic nail polish already has glitter in it and then you can add the glitter it comes with to intensify the look. I applied two coats for each polish. Normally I would wait for one coat to dry before applying the second coat but with these I only waited a few seconds, maybe half a minute, before applying a second coat.

Needless to say, I would recommend this product and with the Holidays right around the corner, this would be a perfect gift! From girls to teens to women- anyone can wear these products. Makeup by One Direction hit the following stores on November 15th- it's available now!:

   Macy's

Mondays, Memories, Mockingjay, and Christmas Cards

Oh my Lord it is Monday. Ugh. My eyes hurt and feel so gritty and fatigued. I'm just so drained and blah and I'm pretty sure it is from working my ass off last week to get so much of our entire office packed and labeled in detail. They always tell me shit last minute. I still have a decent amount to do today and tomorrow but I'm so glad I got most of it done last week or I would be having anxiety attacks all this week. I started to have like maybe two last week but I tried to just stay calm and get it done.

I'm really hoping I have some energy this coming weekend to clean at least some of my house and get my closet room organized. This past weekend was not productive. Ok, well it was a little productive because I took pictures of the furr babies for their Christmas cards and ordered them. And that was a must on my to-do list. And I did get to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1! I didn't read any of the books (not a surprise) but I love the movies and Mockingjay was great. Want to know what the furr babies and I got accomplished yesterday besides watching Pit Bulls and Parolees after breakfast? We laid on the couch and watched an entire season of Kendra on Top On Demand.

Speaking of seeing movies but not reading the books... So I am 98.73% positive I have never finished reading a book I've ever had to read for school like in all of school. Maybe one- if that. Some of them I didn't even read one page. I have started to enjoy reading this past year but anyways, back on topic. So I remember in second grade, we were supposed to be reading Stuart Little and we would get questions to answer about the book for either homework or classwork. (By the way, I had a lot of difficulty when it came to school.) So I got called on to answer one of the questions even though I hadn't raised my hand and I actually didn't read the chapter or do the worksheet. It is so funny how I can remember this. I was asked what the boy used to direct/ control/ steer or w/e the boat at the boat race. My answer? A remote control. I had watched the movie, but not read the book. That was pretttttttty obvious.

I hate Mondays, as most of you know. I'm trying to stay positive though because it is a three day work week. "Woohoo!"- in my Vicki Gunvalson voice (If you've watched The Real Housewives of OC, then you know what I'm talking about lol). And I didn't finish putting up the rest of the little bit of Christmas decorations I have. So I'm not posting pictures of my tree and that stuff yet but if you follow me on Instagram, then you already know what my tree looks like.

Alright well here are a few of the MANY pictures I took this past weekend in an attempt to get "the one" for my Christmas cards:

Gemma: "Um I think we should turn around and actually look at the camera Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum"

Mowgli "I think Sister went this way." Audrey: "No, I think she went this way."

Mowgli: "Mom, why are you telling me "off" when you are holding a toy in the air?"

It was so hard to get these three to sit still and all look at the camera.

Um lets just all not look at the camera.

Audrey: "I'm sick of this shit." Mowgli: "Is this good Mom?" Gemma: "These two are impossible to work with, so I am refusing to look at you."

So I went with this picture (minus my legs and feet showing).
I'll show you all the finished product when I receive the cards! Can't wait! I customized and ordered their cards on www.zazzle.com and luckily I had a promo code at the time to get 60% off of cards. LOVE a great deal and saving money :)

Trey, I was like "Yo Trey"

Ahhh Good Morning. It's Friday! This post is going to be short- or at least I'm going to try to.

So what happened around 4 a.m. on my Friday morning? I was driving with Gemma and Mowgli in my car. I'm at this job location for a few more days, so I'm still able to bring Gemma to work and take Mowgli to the daycare by this work location. Well, a Pomeranian runs out from a yard (I couldn't see which house) and into the road in front of my car. He or She (I wasn't focused on that part) was walking straight on down the road and wouldn't get out of the road. Then he circled around my car and kept trying to run towards my car door. So I immediately stopped, put my hazards on, and ran out to get him (lets just refer to the Pomeranian as a him/ he.). He just stood there and let me pick him up. He didn't bark, didn't cower, didn't run away or anything. It was so dark out. I couldn't put him in my car because Gemma isn't fond of dogs she doesn't know, especially if they're small dogs since she used to live with one who would attack her. So as my dogs are flipping out, and Mowgli eating my breakfast, I looked around at the houses. Only two houses had lights on. I knocked and yelled loudly but no one would answer. My commute is over an hour and in a different state. I had limited options- almost no options really. I couldn't let the dog go. He would've definitely gotten hit, especially since he wouldn't stay off the road and was trying to run at/ jump at my car as I was driving. I was also worried a vehicle would hit my car with my dogs in it. Then an older lady pulled over and asked if I needed help. I explained to her what was going on. She said she was on her way to work too. Then a man from one of the doors I knocked on came out. He said he had never seen that dog and couldn't take it because of his Doberman. The lady finally offered to put the dog in the cardboard box in her back seat and try to figure out something. She seemed super nice and sweet and said she had done this before. I have a good feeling about her but of course guilt and doubt still runs through my mind. I was really at a stand still though. I couldn't take off because I have to pack up all of my stuff and all of the files and label everything so that we can move everything to our new temporary location before Thanksgiving. I think I did the right thing though.

I can't stress enough how important it is to microchip AND put tags on your dog's collar or harness. Not only is it super important and can help you and your dog be reunited if he or she runs off, but it is part of being a responsible pet owner. All of my dogs are microchipped and have tags on their collars that list their name, my phone number (and to call it), and that they are microchipped. Microchipping is not expensive. You can easily go to an affordable vet clinic (not the same as a veterinary hospital) and get your dog microchipped for $10- $30.

By the way, I started randomly singing lyrics yesterday in the car and I remembered them today! So here are the lyrics I was singing from  Bottoms Up by Trey Songs featuring Nicki Minaj:

Trey, I was like "Yo Trey"
Do you think you could buy me a bottle of Rose'?

That was extremely short but oh well lol.

Phone Chargers, The Lammily Doll, and My Winter Coat This Year

Good Morning Loves. For those of you who work Monday through Friday like me, we just have to get through today and then it is one more day til the weekend! Hang in there, you can do this.

So... when I got to work, I looked at my phone and the battery said I only have 39% left (now it is at 33%). I must have knocked my phone charger out of the wall a little or something last night. Ugh I hate when that happens. I try to remember to check the battery percentage before I leave the house to see if that happened or not or at least try to remember to bring my charger, but I rarely remember to do either of those. Just like the fact that I got one of those usb port car chargers or whatever like a month ago so that I could charge my iphone in the car. While the charger is out of the package now, it is sitting in my kitchen. Why? I keep forgetting to put it in my car.

I can't wait til I get home today because that means after I feed the dogs and take them potty, I get to watch last night's episode of American Horror Story Freak Show!!!

I'm sure at least some of you have heard about this new barbie doll coming out that has more realistic proportions. Her name is, "Lammily" and her body is based off the average body proportions of a 19 year old woman. If you thought this was a great idea, it gets better. Lammily will also come with a set of stickers that allows you "...to add and remove freckles, glasses, blushing, adhesive bandages, moles, temporary tattoo, stitches, scrapes and scratches, bruises, casts, scars, mosquito bites, grass, and dirt stains." I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Can I please be turned back into a little girl?!?!?! Think about what fun girls are going to have with these. The only thing people might see as a downfall is the fact that the dolls are $25 and then an additional $6 for stickers. The price isn't horrible, but still. At the same time, it is kind of understandable, especially since it is a new product and everything. I don't think they are in stores quite yet, but you can purchase them from lammily.com and here is the article if you want to read it.

By the way, I decided I'm not going to post pictures of my Christmas tree until I finish putting up a few other Christmas decorations.

With the cold weather here, I wanted to share with you my winter coat this year. I get a winter coat almost every year or two. This one is from h&m and is still selling on their website for $39.95. I love it and it is very warm! I have it in light gray melange but it also comes in black, beige melange, and light pink.

Hey, Did You Know...

It's Have a Bad Day Day today!!!
