I'm Baccck and Months 1-3 Update

Well the title kind of says it all. I'm back or at least I'm trying to be. My life is and has been so hectic but I am really going to try to squeeze blogging in at least once or twice a month? I think that's a pretty realistic goal, right? When I actually have time, I'd really like to revamp the blog big time but for now, that is on the back back back burner.

Sooo my daughter is 8 months old today and I should probably get to writing and posting her monthly updates shouldn't I? I've been keeping notes in my iPhone, so I'm sure lots of things were missed but lets try to catch up and do better with month 9, ok?

1 Month Old

You had 3 doctor's appointments, so we have three different measurements...
1st: You were down to 8 lbs 2 ounces and still 21" long.
2nd: The following week you were up to 8 lbs 14 1/2 ounces.
3rd: You got up to 10 lbs and 22" long.

You're in size 1 diapers. I think you were in NB's for like 3 days.

Likes: Bottle, car seat, car rides, bippy, wubbanub, swing, Boppy lounger, activity mat, when mommy sings Silent Night and I Love You (Barney), Buffalo Soldier (Bob Marley), dogs, and to stretch.

Dislikes: Being hungry, gas, constipation, being tired, bassinet, and crib.

Firsts: Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Years, and restaurant trip (Cheddars).

This was taken on New Year's Eve, the day you were due to be born. How did that big baby fit in there?!

You had your 3rd hearing test (1st two were in the hospital and you failed both in both ears) and you passed! The specialist said we'll most likely have to bring you back at 2 years old for another check but you're in the clear right now.

You're so strong. At your first appointment with the Pediatrician, you almost ripped the plug to the scale right out of the wall!

And you're great with bath time.

2 Months Old

10 lbs 11 ounces and 23" long.

You're in size 2 diapers.

You look like you have two canines coming in.

You had a barium enema to rule our Hirschsprung's disease since you have constipation issues but you don't have it! We did find out what solves your tummy issues though! You have to have gas drops every feeding, you drink Similac Alimentum formula, and 1 ounce of prune juice added to your first and last bottles.

You smile and coo.

You fart sooo loud!

You love when mommy makes your feet dance (hitch kicks and shuffles). You wore shoes for the first time (mommy's shoes when she was little) and you looked so freakin' cute!!!

You love the songs Rock-a-Bye Baby and the Winnie the Pooh song (along with mommy's little dance she made up to go with it).

You LOVE crime shows. If ID is on, all is cool in your world. Not sure if that means I'm raising a detective or a serial killer- I kid, I kid lol.

You love the bouncer and sit-me-up. You're not too much of a fan of the swing anymore like you were before.

You hate the cold and cold things touching you.

Firsts: You attended your first and second funeral, Valentine's Day, and Saint Patrick's Day. Had your first walk/ first time in the stroller. In my notes I have that you spent 2 weekends at Nonno's and Nonna's- not sure if that meant this month was your second time or if both times were in this time period lol (probably the second).

3 Months Old

Sooo this is all I have documented for month 3?

Likes: Britney Spears songs, learning songs and noises animals make, Sign Times baby sign language and Wonderballs on YouTube, your ugly doll Aunt Desi got your (sorry Des but I hate it lol), and your lovies.

Dislikes: Getting dressed and undressed.

Alright, now onto months 4-6!
