37 Week Bumpdate

How Far Along: 37 weeks and 2 days

Due Date: 4/14/18 but my c-section is scheduled for 4/11/18! Yup, still pregnant...

Baby is the Size of: a winter melon! Baby #2 should weigh 6.5 lbs and measure 19-22" long. I had my last ultrasound at 33 weeks and 4 days where Rhylan was weighing 5 lbs 8 oz. The high risk Dr is thinking she'll weigh between 8 1/2- 8 3/4 lbs when born and that I'll give birth between 38- 39 weeks like last time (I'll be 38 weeks on March 31st- that is this month!!!). I'm going to say she is going to be 8 lbs 2 oz and 22" long at birth.

Weight Gain: 41 lbs.

Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting ("controlled" by Diclegis and Promethazine), MOODY, emotional, fatigue, Depression, super EXHAUSTED, lower back/ tailbone pain, acid reflux ("controlled" by Pepcid- I take this twice a day and am having issues with heartburn and acid reflux again), cramping, pelvic pain/ pubic bone pain, pregnancy brain, braxton hicks, pressure down low, and real contractions.

Gender: Girl!

Name: Rhylan Violet

Movement: Yes!

Rings On or Off?: Off. They sadly reside on my necklace.

Signs of Labor: I've been having some inconsistent contractions and braxton hicks for months and she dropped at 32 weeks. She is head down and at my cervix/ pushing against my cervix. I started taking Evening Primrose Oil at 36 weeks (Once or twice a day orally and a few times I've taken it vaginally). Oh and sorry TMI but I'm so miserable and want her out so bad that I had sex with Jesse 5 nights in a row- I should be rewarded with our baby being here! Ugh! And Saturday night I had contractions that went from 9 min apart to 7 min apart to 6 min apart and then eventually stopped. So frustrating!

Nursery: Mermaid themed! If you missed it, here is the nursery reveal!

Maternity Clothes: I'm in maternity clothes and some non-maternity clothes.

Sleep: Same old, same old. I sleep but never feel like I got sleep. I have been waking up a lot throughout the night too- even more than before, uggggh.

Best Moment(s) of the Week:
-Snow Day! We got about 1 1/2 feet of snow which caused us to be at home stuck inside for 2 days. I wanted one good snow day but not this late in the year.
-Had a family dinner at my oldest sister's house since Wednesday will mark 2 years since my nephew, her son, passed.
-We brought the swing out and set it up!
-Went to ToysRus and BabiesRus to check out the liquidation sales... 10% off is hardly a sale ugh. We did get a few inexpensive items like yet another baby doll for Rory (I highly suggest waterbabies- Rory loves them! And one of my nieces enjoyed teething on Rory's new doll's feet), a doll stroller (which gets Rory quite frustrated), floor foam mat tiles, sunglasses, some hair ties and a little door hanger for Rhylan's room that says something about a mermaid is sleeping here. Rory was more interested in seeing boys instead of all of the toys though.

Missing: Not being nauseous, margaritas, wine and gin and tonics. Ugh, you do not know how badly I want alcohol. Sooo looking forward to my first drink after Rhylan is born.

Cravings & Aversions: No big time cravings but enjoying ice cream, peanut m&ms, Doritos, and sour cream and onion chips (not together).

Mood: MOODY. I am soooo much more moodier this pregnancy and emotional. And this time change is kicking my butt.

Looking Forward to:
-Working on cleaning the house- ok, so I'm not looking forward to actually doing this but it is so nice after your house is cleaned. With such a busy weekend coming up, I don't think cleaning is going to happen.
-Easter/ Easter festivities!!! I cannot wait to show y'all Rory in her Easter dress. And I even bought the girls Easter outfits for next year! Rory will be participating in an Easter egg hunt this year with my cousins' kids. IF Rhylan decides to come before Easter, even though I didn't buy her an Easter dress per se, she has lots of dresses that she could wear.
-Speaking of Easter, there will be a post up on the blog this week of what I put in Rory's Easter basket. So if you have any 1/ 1+ year olds or are wondering what to put in a 1+ year old's Easter basket, be on the lookout for that post.
